Job summary

ProCODE seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead modernization of enterprise reporting and analytics using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will design, build, and govern data platforms enabling trusted operational insights, analytics, AI readiness, and enterprise-scale reporting.

The role requires hands-on Fabric, Power BI semantic modeling, data architecture, and governance expertise, plus migration of legacy assets and collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data engineering or BI development.
• Expertise with Power BI including data modeling and DAX.
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms in Fabric/Azure.
• Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple systems.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Hands-on Fabric components: OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Spark Notebooks.
• Experience migrating reports from Domo/Tableau to Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Migrate operational reporting assets to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
• Define Fabric architectures including Lakehouses and Warehouses.
• Build reusable engineering patterns to accelerate migrations.
• Develop enterprise-scale Power BI datasets for various reporting needs.
• Optimize Fabric capacity, storage, performance, and cost.
• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines from enterprise systems.
• Apply medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) within Fabric.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and observability across data lifecycles.
• Modernize ETL/ELT and reporting solutions to cloud-native architectures.
• Partner with analysts and product stakeholders on analytical requirements.
