Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer in Dearborn, MI to drive enterprise BI initiatives using Power BI and Google BigQuery. You will lead semantic modeling, reporting, and data architecture efforts, collaborating with business and tech stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering with strong BI capabilities, in a hybrid onsite/remote setup (4 days on site, 1 day WFH). Competitive hourly rate offered, not on C2C.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience delivering enterprise BI solutions.
• Advanced expertise in Power BI including semantic modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Strong BigQuery experience and data warehousing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Power BI semantic models and high-performing reports/dashboards.
• Develop and optimize BigQuery SQL queries and ETL/ELT processes.
• Establish data architecture standards, governance, and performance optimization across analytics.
