Job summary

Suna Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Data Architect to lead modernization of the enterprise data platform. This role combines data architecture, engineering, governance, security, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities include shaping the data lake/lakehouse architecture, building scalable pipelines, and driving governance standards across quality, metadata, lineage, and access controls. The candidate will mentor engineers and collaborate with security, infra, and business

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, BI, or enterprise data platforms.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2/OneLake, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Purview.
Strong knowledge of data lake/lakehouse architecture, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic models, and data governance.
Advanced SQL and ETL/ELT experience.

Responsibilities

Assess and improve enterprise data lake/lakehouse architecture across Raw, Curated, and Serving layers.
Design and modernize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, ADLS Gen2/OneLake, Power BI, and Purview.
Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, integrations, and reporting datasets.
Establish data governance standards covering quality, metadata, lineage, cataloging, security, and access controls.
Lead architecture assessments, roadmaps, design reviews, and modernization initiatives.
