Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• 5+ years with Hadoop, Spark, Spark streaming and Kafka; Hive, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake and Databricks.
• 3+ years of Python and Scala experience.
• Experience with data warehouse modeling (STAR schema) and building data pipelines; ability to guide data architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to drive outcomes for customers.
• Design and implement data quality frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop core software for data products delivering scalable, reliable outcomes.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to plan and decompose work and set standards.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion patterns and monitoring/observability for data pipelines.
