Job summary

The Fischer Group seeks a Senior Data Engineer to build and evolve the data foundation powering decision-making. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions on the Microsoft Fabric platform, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and analytics-ready.

You will modernize legacy solutions, establish engineering practices, and partner with Analytics, BI, and IT teams to deliver trusted data that drives insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 3+ years designing, building, and supporting enterprise data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in production.
• Strong SQL and Python (PySpark) skills; cloud data platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Microsoft Fabric and related cloud tech.
• Develop and optimize Lakehouse/Data Warehouse architectures for performance and cost efficiency.
• Modernize legacy SSIS/on-prem solutions by migrating to cloud-based platforms.
