Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in data engineering, data architecture, or related role.
• Advanced SQL and at least one scripting language (Python strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud data platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and frameworks (e.g., star schema, Data Mesh).
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and Lakehouse solutions (Microsoft Fabric).
• Write production-quality SQL, Python, and Spark code for transformations.
• Enforce data governance, lineage, and cataloging standards.
• Ensure data quality via automated monitoring, testing, and SLAs.
• Collaborate with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders to fulfill data needs.
• Support CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for data platform deployments.
• Document data models, pipelines, and specs for knowledge transfer.
