Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer in Piscataway, NJ, hybrid work arrangement. You will lead hands-on data product development, build high-performance data pipelines, and partner with the Data Architect to ensure scalable analytics across our supply chain.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL/dbt/Airflow skills, and Snowflake data warehouse experience. Travel is up to 10%; visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative field.
5+ years in Data Engineering
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow.
Data Warehouse experience (Snowflake preferred).

Responsibilities

Serve as hands-on lead resolving blockers across Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt pipelines.
Back up Data Architect; review GitHub PRs to enforce testing, quality, and standards.
Ensure alignment with modern cloud data warehousing and orchestration standards (Airflow / GKE).
Deliver high-impact datasets for core metrics (OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory) from SAP, Kinaxis, and WMS/TMS tools.
Manage sprint backlogs, timelines, internal engineers, and third-party consultants across concurrent initiatives.
