Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is hiring a Senior Data Engineer / Integration Specialist to support HQ USSTRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE. You will design secure, scalable data ingestion and integration pipelines enabling C3/NC3 modernization and rapid prototyping across cloud environments.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and 6–10 years in data engineering/ integration, including 3+ years with DoW/DoD/IC missions.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with TS clearance and eligibility for NC2-ESI, NATO, and SAR programs from day one.
• Full-time onsite work at Offutt AFB.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 6–10 years in data engineering, data integration, or software development; 3+ years with DoD/IC missions.
• Experience designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT pipelines and integration workflows.
• Strong Python/Java skills and experience with streaming frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of secure data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines for C3/NC3 modernization.
• Architect real-time and batch data flows connecting legacy NC2 systems, sensors, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and gRPC within distributed architectures; ensure data quality and governance.
• Mentor junior engineers and prepare technical artifacts and senior-leader briefings.
