Job summary

The Sage Group seeks a senior contractor to design and build the data foundation for our B2B marketing in HubSpot. You will own the data model that connects people, accounts, locations, and other records we market to, and you will load data from our warehouse and other sources into HubSpot while keeping syncs accurate.

You will work closely with the Campaign Architect to ensure the right properties, events, and associations are in place for Iterable-to-HubSpot migration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or analytics roles with HubSpot data hands-on.
• Designed HubSpot data models with custom objects and associations.
• Advanced SQL for profiling, transforming, validating in Snowflake.
• Experience with reverse ETL and ETL/ELT tools as listed.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and HubSpot CRM + Associations APIs.
• Led large data migrations preserving relationships between records.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to explain data concepts to marketers.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations for marketing data.

Responsibilities

• Own HubSpot data model design including objects, custom objects, and associations.
• Document design decisions, source-of-truth tables, and refresh schedules.
• Build and maintain warehouse-to-HubSpot data syncs with Hightouch or native tools.
• Map fields to HubSpot properties; define keys, dedup rules, and update logic.
• Monitor sync health; set alerts for failures and schema changes.
• Own end-to-end data quality: deduplication, standardization, enrichment, cleanup.
• Plan migration of Iterable attributes, events, and subscription status to HubSpot.
• Set governance standards: access control, consent fields, retention, PII handling.
• Document model, mappings, and runbooks; keep them current.
