Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering workstreams from discovery to production handover.
• Design and build batch and streaming pipelines in Python and SQL.
• Develop ingestion for structured and unstructured data, including parsing and metadata capture.
• Design warehouse and lakehouse models to support reporting and AI use cases.
• Implement data quality checks, lineage, and access controls with risk teams.
• Prepare retrieval-ready data with document parsing, embedding pipelines, and indexing.
• Collaborate with AI Co-lab to frame data requirements and evaluate options.
• Build automated tests, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and recovery procedures.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
