Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced Applications Development professional for its Irving, Texas team. You will design, implement, and support enterprise data and ETL systems, collaborating with business, client, and technology stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on development depth in ETL, data warehousing, cloud orchestration, and multiple data platforms, with mentoring responsibility for junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems analysis and software programming experience.
• Experience with Data Warehouse and ETL design, including AbInitio.
• Cloud orchestration experience with AWS Glue, AWS Athena and Airflow.
• Experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Unix shell scripting.
• Banking domain experience is required.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time & cost estimates, IT planning and risk assessments.
• Implement new or revised application systems to meet evolving needs.
• Oversee all phases of the development lifecycle from analysis to implementation.
• Provide operational support to business users across lifecycle stages.
• Advise on advanced programming solutions to address needs.
• Develop and enforce security measures for applications.
• Coach junior analysts and act as SME to senior stakeholders.
