Job summary

Citi is seeking a Data Analytics Lead Engineer in Irving, TX to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and cloud-based architectures for Lending analytics. This hands-on role covers big data platforms, data lakes, and data warehouses while enabling AI/ML integration.

You will work across Mortgage and Personal Loans, driving reliability, performance, and data quality in production systems with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Experience with Spark-based tech stack and cloud data platforms like Snowflake/Cloudera.
• Proficiency in Python/Scala/Shell for data engineering tasks.
• Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Airflow or Autosys.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Experience with Tableau or Cognos for data presentation.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end data pipelines for lending datasets with reliability and performance.
• Design scalable cloud architectures across data lakes, warehouses, and streaming environments.
• Architect data schemas to meet performance and business requirements.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Monitor data quality and pipeline health across systems.
• Apply generative AI tooling to accelerate engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Data Engineers, and Governance teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
