Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking an ETL Software Engineer to support Financial Crime Risk Management. You will develop, enhance, and support enterprise data integration and ETL processes, focusing on secure, scalable solutions that comply with regulatory requirements.

The role involves modernizing platforms, migrating from legacy on-prem to future-state technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data processing and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with Oracle database solutions, including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• 2+ years of SQL development and data warehousing concepts.
• 2+ years of ETL development using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• 1+ years of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience troubleshooting complex applications, data integration processes, and production support issues.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise ETL applications powering financial crime detection and regulatory compliance.
• Improve batch and real-time data processing and data warehouse solutions.
• Migrate legacy on-premises applications to future-state technologies.
• Analyze root causes and implement sustainable solutions to improve reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with technology, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders.
