Job summary

AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain an enterprise data warehouse that supports analytics, data science, and AI initiatives. The role reports to the Senior VP of Enterprise Intelligence.

You will architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, manage API integrations, and optimize data workflows using T-SQL, ADF, and Microsoft Fabric notebooks. Collaboration with data scientists and BI teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data warehousing, data engineering, or similar role.
• Advanced T-SQL development and performance tuning.
• 5+ years as SQL Server / Azure SQL DBA — tuning, indexing, capacity planning.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory for pipelines (ADF).
• Experience with Python for data engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions for analytics, data science and AI.
• Architect scalable ETL/ELT pipelines transforming raw data to analytics-ready formats.
• Build and manage API integrations, including hands-on API development.
• Utilize T-SQL and Azure Data Factory to create and optimize data workflows.
• Use Microsoft Fabric notebooks for transformation and orchestration; leverage Lakehouse/Warehouse storage.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and performance through tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and BI teams to meet business needs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
• Lead creation of scalable data models and optimize for performance.
