Job summary

Bangor Savings Bank is seeking a Senior/Principal Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes for business intelligence needs. You will lead data delivery, quality, and automation across the D&A team.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and ETL expertise, with leadership responsibilities for projects and collaboration with business lines within the bank.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Data Architecture, Data Lake, Data Marts, and Analytical systems.
• Strong SQL development skills and data modeling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for BI needs.
• Develop and deploy data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, profiling, and metadata management across source systems.
