Job summary

ICW Group is seeking a Data Engineer III to design, develop, and implement data pipelines and data storage solutions such as data warehouses and data lakes. The role collaborates with IT, BI, and Data Science teams to enable data-driven decision-making and automation.

The engineer will participate in data architecture, governance, and performance optimization across cloud and traditional platforms, with a strong focus on scalable, reliable data delivery for enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in data integration engineering.
• Experience with data governance and data security.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and solutions using batch and streaming data.
• Analyze data elements, model data, and verify ETL/ELT mappings.
• Design and review data warehouse schemas and data source integrations.
• Test data pipelines and optimize performance and cost.
• Lead data initiatives for reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
