Job summary

Experis is seeking an Engineer 5 - Contingent to join the Data Engineering Department in Minneapolis, MN. You will design, develop, and optimize data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data models powering Power BI and AI workflows, using SQL Server and Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

7+ years of data engineering or related experience.
Advanced SQL development with Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on with cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Fabric.
Strong enterprise data modeling knowledge (Medallion) and repository standards.
Experience integrating Excel, APIs, files, and web data sources.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions using SQL Server and Fabric.
Create reusable ETL/ELT pipelines to central data stores.
Optimize SQL queries and data processing for performance and reliability.
Develop enterprise data models for Power BI, Excel, and AI-driven analysis.
Utilize AI tools to accelerate data analysis, code development, and documentation.
