Job summary

Adactin Software is seeking a senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines within its cloud-based ecosystem. You will drive scalable, reusable data assets and partner with Solution Designers, DevOps, and Data Ops to ensure quality and performance.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural discussions, and help standardize engineering practices across projects while delivering robust data solutions for analytics and operational use cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline orchestration, transformation logic, and cloud-native tools (Snowflake, AWS Glue, Lambda, S3).
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and code versioning.
• Minimum 5+ years in data engineering or related development roles; proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines in cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead delivery across initiatives or workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reliable, performant, and reusable data pipelines and transformations.
• Lead design discussions, reviews, and uplift engineering quality and consistency.
• Embed logging, error handling, and observability into all pipeline work.
• Apply CI/CD practices and collaborate with DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior Data Engineers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
