Job summary

Deloitte France is actively seeking a Data Engineer III to join the AI & Data team in the United States. You will design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines for batch and near-real-time analytics and AI use cases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions, ensure data quality, and support cloud-based platform deployments. A Secret clearance and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field and 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and deploying data pipelines and ETL processes.
• 4+ years of experience in incident management.
• 4+ years of experience in data management.
• 4+ years of experience in data ingestion.
• 4+ years of experience leading technical teams or workstreams.
• 4+ years of experience managing stakeholder relationships.
• Active Secret security clearance with full adjudication.
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining batch and near-real-time data pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
• Building and optimizing data models, schemas, and storage solutions to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
• Integrating data from multiple structured and unstructured sources while ensuring data quality, lineage, and consistency across platforms.
• Supporting cloud-based data platform implementation activities, including deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, incident management, and issue resolution.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business and technical requirements into scalable data engineering solutions and support delivery across project workstreams.
