Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Data Engineer III to join its AI & Data team in the United States. You will design and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines, build data models, and support AI data platforms used for analytics and growth initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while upholding data quality, security, and governance. A Secret clearance and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience developing, testing, and deploying data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Active Secret security clearance with full adjudication.
• Ability to travel 0-10% based on client needs.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
• Building and optimizing data models, schemas, and storage for analytics and AI use cases.
• Integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring quality and lineage.
• Supporting cloud-based data platform implementation, deployment, monitoring and performance tuning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data engineering solutions.
