Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will design, integrate, and implement data warehousing solutions, migrating workloads to the cloud and supporting on-premise platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years with SQL and relational databases, 2+ years in cloud data engineering (AWS/GCP/Azure) and experience in PySpark, Python, and dimensional modeling. Bachelor's in CS/Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems
• 2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.
• 2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues
• Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and implement data warehousing solutions for cloud and on-prem environments
• Collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
• Support migrations of workloads to the cloud and maintain existing data workloads
