Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Idaho/Boise to deliver high-quality modern data solutions. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, data science, and product teams to design, integrate, and migrate workloads to the cloud and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities include building and optimizing data warehouses, modeling data, and ensuring data quality at scale. The role requires strong SQL, Python/PySpark, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem data engineering platforms (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for cloud and on-prem warehousing.
• Hands-on with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and warehousing.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of data issues and performance improvement techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to own deliverables in a fast-paced team.
