Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will design, integrate, and implement on-premise data solutions and support migrations of existing workloads to the cloud.

The role requires strong SQL, Python and PySpark skills, experience with relational databases, data warehousing, and Dimensional modeling. A Bachelor's in CS/Engineering is required, with 4+ years of SQL experience and 2+ years in cloud data

Qualifications

4+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.
Programming and modifying code in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
Hands-on troubleshooting of data issues and performance optimization.
Strong communication and ownership in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams.
Design, integrate, and implement on-premise data solutions and support cloud migrations.
Contribute to the data warehouse processing of payer files.
