Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines across Claims, Revenue and Medicare data, working with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams.

The role spans on-premise solutions and cloud migrations, with hands-on work in SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience in Databricks.
• Familiarity with Azure.
• Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
• Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
• Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques.
• Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Design, integrate, and implement data solutions on-premise and support migrations of existing workloads to the cloud.
• Process Claims, Revenue, Medicare-specific files and data from 30+ payors into our Data Warehouse.
