Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to design and implement on-premise and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

The role focuses on processing healthcare data, including Claims, Revenue, Medicare files, and over 30 payor feeds, to support the Data Warehouse.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
3+ years of experience in Cloud technologies.
3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
3+ years of experience in Databricks.
Familiarity with Azure.
Programming and modifying code in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues.
Hands-on experience with performance improvement techniques.
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality modern data solutions through collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
Design, integrate, and implement data solutions on-premise and support cloud migrations.
Process claims, revenue, Medicare data and 30+ payor feeds into the Data Warehouse.
