Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams in an agile environment. You will design and implement data warehousing solutions, supporting on-prem and cloud migrations, leveraging SQL, Python, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure to reimagine healthcare data processing.

The role focuses on processing Claims, Revenue and Medicare data from 30+ payors into the Data Warehouse, with strong

Qualifications

5+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
3+ years of experience in Cloud technologies
3+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL server
3+ years of experience in Databricks
Familiarity with Azure
Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.
Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting data issues
Hands-on experience with various performance improvement techniques
Willingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
