CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytics and data science workloads in Colorado. This hands-on role requires strong data engineering practices and the ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will model the Core Data Domain, build scalable ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable BI and ML initiatives. A Bachelor's degree and cloud experience are preferred.

Formación

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and complex queries.
• Python experience for ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and optimize data models and schemas for analytics.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Tune performance: partitioning and clustering to reduce costs.
• Enforce data quality and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on BI and ML use cases.
• Document pipelines and mentor junior engineers.
• Architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads and data marts.
