Job summary

Disney Experiences, a part of Walt Disney Attractions Technology, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver data products and pipelines powering Content Performance and Content Engagement across Disney brands and experiences.

You will join the Data Products & Platforms team in Technology & Digital, collaborating with Data Product Managers, Data Architects and Engineers to craft scalable data solutions using AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills to extract data and build datasets.
• Hands-on with AWS tool stack (Lambda, Kinesis, DMS, AppFlow, EventBridge).
• Experience with Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery.
• Expert SQL/T-SQL and query tuning.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Data modeling and data warehousing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and growth of Data Products and Data Warehouses around Content Performance and Content Engagement data.
• Design and develop scalable data warehousing solutions; build ELT pipelines in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Use AWS, Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow to transform and store Cast & Operations data.
• Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers to implement data solutions.
• Maintain documentation for data quality and governance; ensure SLAs and customer focus.
• Participate in agile/scrum practices to improve team health and delivery.
