Job summary

GoMining is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a strong software engineering background to design and build a modern cloud data platform. You will own scalable data pipelines, data models, and integration standards across systems, enabling analytics, ML, and product teams.

The role emphasizes building reliable batch and streaming pipelines, platform reliability, and engineering excellence with IaC, CI/CD, and automation across the data platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Data Engineering, 3+ in Senior roles
• Strong Python coding skills
• Proven cloud data platform and data warehouse design
• Hands-on GCP experience: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer
• ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures, API integrations
• Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Data modeling, distributed systems, scalable architectures
• Data quality, monitoring, observability
• Strong SQL skills

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve GoMining's cloud data platform on Google Cloud Platform
• Develop scalable data architecture and data pipelines
• Define data models, data contracts, and integration standards
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and reliability across the platform
• Drive IaC, CI/CD, and automation across the data platform
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams
