Job summary

Alignment Health, LLC is seeking a Sr Data Engineer (Finance) to design and operate a cloud-based data platform. You will build and migrate ETL pipelines to a scalable cloud architecture and integrate the SQL data warehouse as the core processing platform for a curated enterprise data model.

You will join a growing Data Services and BI team, contributing to data-driven decisions that impact clinical outcomes and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud-based data engineering experience.
• Strong data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing skills.
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, Teradata, etc.
• Experience with NoSQL and big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark).
• Proficiency in Python, .NET, Java or other data engineering languages.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with business customers to gather requirements and build new datasets.
• Migrate complex ETL pipelines from on-prem to cloud and Hadoop/Spark ecosystems.
• Identify and address data quality issues to improve user experience.
• Extract and combine data from multiple heterogeneous sources.
• Design and support a platform for ad-hoc access to large datasets.
• Model data and metadata to support ML/AI initiatives.
