Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on Data/ML engineer in San Francisco, CA to deliver end-to-end data and AI solutions on Google Cloud. You will collaborate with senior architects, support delivery teams, and help scale Looker analytics and Vertex AI models.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering or ML, 4+ years on GCP, strong SQL and Python, and a Bachelor's degree. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Eng/Analytics/ML Eng or related field.
• 4+ years on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 5+ years SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• 3+ years Python or AI/GenAI tools; Vertex AI preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical delivery across data and AI projects.
• Build data pipelines and ETL/ELT with GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and BigQuery query optimization.
• Develop dashboards and analytics products with Looker/Looker Studio.
• Develop ML/AI solutions using Vertex AI, Gemini models; establish MLOps pipelines.
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG experiments.
• Collaborate with clients and translate requirements into technical tasks.
