Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on Data/ML Engineer focused on Google Cloud Platform to join the Google Cloud partner team delivering data and AI solutions.

You will build data pipelines, optimize BigQuery, work with Looker, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and contribute to end-to-end delivery and client workshops.

This role includes travel 0–100% depending on client needs, collaboration with senior architects, and a path to advanced GCP data & AI patterns.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in data engineering, data analytics or ML engineering
• At least 4 years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform
• 5 years experience with SQL, data modeling and building data pipelines
• 3 years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical delivery for data projects
• Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes using GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning and BigQuery optimization
• Develop ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini models
• Implement ML pipelines and establish MLOps processes (monitoring, retraining, deployment)
• Support data governance, quality, and security using GCP tools
• Collaborate with clients and teams to translate requirements and communicate progress
