Job summary

Accenture, a premier Google Cloud partner, is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer/ML Engineer to design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions for clients across the United States. You will work closely with senior architects, support delivery teams, and help translate business needs into technical plans.

Contribute to building data pipelines in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Looker, implement ML pipelines with Vertex AI, and participate in MLOps. Travel may be required (0–100%).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or ML.
• Minimum of 4 years practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools (Vertex AI preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (12 years).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical delivery and data pipeline development using GCP services.
• Assist with data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization in BigQuery.
• Implement data ingestion patterns for batch and streaming sources.
• Support dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
• Develop ML models and AI solutions using Vertex AI and Gemini platforms; establish MLOps processes.
• Support prompt engineering, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) experiments.
• Collaborate with clients, translate requirements into technical tasks, and communicate progress.
