Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Consulting Data Engineer to design, ingest, transform, validate, and document analytics data solutions, including medallion-style data marts, for reporting and business insights. The role requires strong proficiency with Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and SQL, plus experience in regulated environments and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in relational data models, ingestion, transformation, and analytics delivery
• Or 9+ years’ experience in the same areas
• Strong experience with Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and SQL including data transformation and quality
• Experience building datasets for ad-hoc analytics, reporting, and stakeholder insight
• Experience in regulated industries with governance and data privacy requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage time and budget per the Statement of Work and escalate budget issues early
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ingest and deliver analytics data
• Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation processes using Snowflake, DBT, AWS, and SQL
• Monitor pipelines and automated jobs to ensure timely, accurate delivery
• Validate data transformations to ensure high-quality outputs
• Document data processes and governance compliance
• Communicate project status to leadership and clients
