CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytical capabilities. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and help model the Core Data Domain to support analytics, reporting, and ML workloads.

The role focuses on building robust data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance in a cloud environment, collaborating with data scientists and product owners, and mentoring junior engineers in a full‑time capacity.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant qualification.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to develop complex queries.
• Experience in Python for ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment.

Responsabilidades

• Model and architect data models and schemas for analytics and ML.
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple sources.
• Tune performance, partitioning, and clustering to optimize queries and reduce costs.
• Establish data quality and governance standards for data storage and access.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate BI and ML models.
• Document pipelines and mentor junior data engineers.
