CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to design and implement data pipelines powering analytics and data science workloads. This hands-on role requires strong SQL, Python and cloud experience to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

You will model the Core Data Domain, collaborate with data scientists and analysts, and mentor junior engineers while delivering efficient, well-documented data infrastructure for enterprise analytics.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of applicable work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; ability to write complex queries.
• Experience in Python for ETL pipelines.
• Experience deploying data pipelines in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of data governance best practices in a cloud environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and product owners.

Responsabilidades

• Model and architect data to support analytics, reporting, and ML.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
• Optimize data queries with partitioning and clustering to reduce costs.
• Establish data quality standards and data governance policies for data storage and access.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate with BI tools and ML models.
• Create documentation for pipelines and mentor junior engineers.
• Design and architect data infrastructure for analytical workloads and data marts.
