Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and operate data management systems and pipelines for mission-driven projects across government domains. You will organize disparate DoW and IC data using Python, R, and SQL/NoSQL databases, and collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and developers to deliver scalable data platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to work on complex, multi-source data environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and operating data management systems.
• Ability to query, clean, organize, and store DoW and IC data using Python, R and database technologies including PostgreSQL, SQLite, and ElasticSearch.
• Ability to select and optimize backend database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL for government use cases.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with data management, programming, data engineering, data mining, or data warehousing, or 12+ years of experience with data management, programming, data engineering, data mining, or data warehousing in lieu of a degree.
