Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and operate data management systems and scalable pipelines for mission-driven projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with analysts, developers, and data users to organize diverse data sources, enabling insights for fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and operating data management systems.
• Ability to query, clean, organize, and store data using Python and R and database technologies including PostgreSQL, SQLite, and Elasticsearch.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with data management, programming, data engineering, data mining, or data warehousing, or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms for clients.
• Guide a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in agile projects.
