Job summary

T-Mobile in Frisco, TX is seeking a Sr. Software/Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. You will assemble large data sets, optimize extraction and loading, and deliver actionable metrics to support business decisions.

Work with stakeholders across product, data, and design teams, implement scalable data solutions, and apply Agile practices in a hybrid on-site role. Salary range reflects Texas market and strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics or IT with 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics or IT with 5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements and scalable infrastructure.
• Build data pipelines for ETL using SQL and Azure technologies.
• Develop analytics tools for insights into customer acquisition and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with executives, product, data, and design teams on data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics and data science teams to advance product leadership.
• Adopt Agile practices with Jira, Jira Align, and Git.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure data quality and governance.
• Utilize Azure Databricks and ADLS to design end-to-end data pipelines.
