Job summary

T-Mobile in Frisco, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and maintain data pipelines, deliver scalable data solutions, and partner with data and product teams to extract actionable insights.

Responsibilities include building data warehouses, automating data delivery, and ensuring data quality across platforms (Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server) using Azure cloud services. Hybrid work model with on-site presence required several days per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business analytics, computer science or information technology with 3 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s with 5+ years.
• Proven ability to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL across multiple platforms and scale datasets.
• Experience designing enterprise data sets, data marts, and data warehouses with dimensional modeling.
• Strong programming skills (Python/Scala/Java/JavaScript) for building data pipelines and workflows.
• Familiar with Agile, Jira, Jira Align, and Git for delivery and collaboration.
• Experience in data quality frameworks, reconciliation, and ensuring reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and optimize large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.
• Identify and implement internal process improvements, automate data delivery, and redesign infrastructure for scalability.
• Build ETL pipelines and data infrastructure using SQL and Azure technologies.
• Create analytics tools leveraging data pipelines to support KPI and business insights.
• Collaborate with executives, product, data, design teams to resolve data issues and support infrastructure needs.
• Develop data tools for analytics and data science teams to drive product leadership.
• Work with analytics teams to enhance data system functionality.
• Telecommuting is allowed, but must work onsite 3–4 days per week.
• No significant travel anticipated.
