Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric, Azure analytics, and Snowflake expertise to design and deliver scalable data solutions. You will work in a Microsoft stack with OneLake, Lakehouse architectures, and Snowflake-based pipelines.

Role requires 6+ years in data engineering and hands-on experience with Azure Fabric, Synapse, and Snowflake, plus Power BI modeling. Remote, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Data Engineering in Microsoft tech stack.
• Two end-to-end implementation projects on Azure Fabric (design, development, deployment).
• Two end-to-end Snowflake projects (involving ingestion, transformation, modeling).
• Strong SQL, Python and ETL/ELT development expertise.
• Experience with Azure data services: ADF, Synapse, SQL, ADLS Gen2, OneLake/Lakehouse.
• Power BI reporting development and data visualization experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Translate functional requirements into technical data solutions.
• Design and implement modern data platform architectures using Fabric or Snowflake.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
• Build scalable lakehouse and warehouse models (medallion architecture).
• Implement secure, high-performance data platforms and governance practices.
• Develop enterprise-grade ELT frameworks on Snowflake and CI/CD pipelines.
