Blu Omega Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise data solutions for mission-critical federal operations.

The role is hybrid, primarily onsite one day per week in the Atlanta, GA or Washington, DC Metro area, and supports CDC/DMAC programs. Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years with Python and SQL, building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• 2+ years with Azure data services including Azure Data Factory.
• 1+ years with Databricks or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Build and optimize data models, warehouses, and lakehouse environments.
• Ingest, clean, transform large-scale datasets from APIs, relational databases, files, and unstructured sources.
• Implement data quality, governance, and security practices.
