Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering production-grade data pipelines and curated datasets.
• 7+ years of SQL and Python, including Snowflake and/or PySpark.
• 7+ years designing, building, and operating batch and near-real-time data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with data integration frameworks and orchestration tools.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing Lakehouse/warehouse architectures and ELT patterns.
• Knowledge of DevOps: CI/CD, version control, IaC.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related field; travel 10% expected.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and operate scalable data pipelines on AWS.
• Design ingestion patterns from source systems into S3 and Snowflake.
• Develop transformations and curated datasets in Snowflake for analytics.
• Implement orchestration and workflow automation with retries and idempotency.
• Build Python components for ingestion, validation, and transformations.
• Optimize Snowflake performance and cost, sizing, concurrency, and clustering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into datasets and data contracts.
• Lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement and optimization.
