Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a senior Data Scientist with TS/SCI clearance to join our Northern Virginia data engineering team. You will help modernize OSINT data layers, enable AI/ML enrichments, and build scalable, AWS-based data architectures on a fast-growing platform.

You should have 6+ years of DS experience, strong Java/Spring, and hands-on AWS, Elasticsearch, and data-lake tooling, plus a track record leading teams in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with scripting language such as R or Python.
• Experience with data science techniques and algorithms.
• B.S. Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
• 0-3 years for entry level / 3-6 years for mid / 6+ years for senior in DS projects.

Responsibilities

• Expand Data Lake offering built on AWS S3, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Modernize OSINT data layer with new access patterns and services for AI/ML enrichments.
• Build scalable data architecture on AWS ecosystem.
• Lead teams in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
