Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a Data Scientist to join our expanding Data Science practice. You will work with intel analysts on a mission-critical cyber operations contract to develop prototypes and derive actionable insights from very large data sets.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data science, 3+ years leading teams, and deep experience with Spark, Python or R, and advanced visualization. A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field, or AA with 2+ years experience.
• 10+ years data science experience with 3+ years managing teams.
• Experience with large datasets.
• Familiarity with data science applications: association analysis, graph analytics, clustering, text analytics, classification and regression.
• Training in design/implementation of static and dynamic visualizations in R, Python, Tableau, or similar.
• Experience with Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, Microsoft Office, Linux CLI, Pandas.

Responsibilities

• Work with intel analysts on a mission-critical cyber operations contract to develop prototypes and novel solutions.
• Derive actionable insights from very large data sets.
• Present findings and progress on a periodic basis.
• Collaborate across data science projects and teams.
