Job summary

Red Alpha is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver a secure, scalable AWS-based full‑stack application for encryption key storage and management. You will lead development, guide teams, and collaborate with customer stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.

The role requires 8+ years in Java, strong modern development practices, REST APIs, and Agile methods, plus TS/SCI with Poly clearance. Hybrid schedule with telework up to three days per week is offered.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years experience.
• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• 8+ years experience with modern development practices.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph level of security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive AWS-based full-stack application for encryption key storage and management.
• Design and deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
• Provide leadership to engineering teams and collaborate with customer stakeholders.
• Advance data protection capabilities through encryption key management implementations.
