Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead end-to-end data architecture and delivery for the Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry program. You will design models, build scalable ETL pipelines, and govern data quality across raw to curated layers while guiding a distributed engineering team.

You will engage with government stakeholders to translate mission needs into architecture, maintain Foundry governance, and deliver data products and analytics for critical DoD applications.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with active secret DoD security clearance.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML.
• Hands-on architect/technical lead experience delivering enterprise data and AI systems.
• Strong communication and independent collaboration in a fast-paced DoD environment.
• Experience with Army Vantage or Palantir Foundry pipelines, Ontology, Workshop, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and hands-on implementation of enterprise data, analytics, and applications in Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry.
• Design data models using Kimball, Databricks Lakehouse, and Foundry Ontology.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and governance across raw, clean, and curated layers.
• Implement Foundry Ontologies and governance features for access control and data quality.
• Lead engineers, review code, resolve blockers, and maintain architectural alignment.
