Job summary

CACI International seeks a Senior Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture for Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry. You’ll own end‑to‑end data solutions, work with government stakeholders, and guide a distributed engineering team to deliver governed data products.

You will design models and pipelines, implement ontologies, and build Workshop applications within a fast‑paced DoD environment while ensuring data quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active secret DoD clearance.
• Degree in Information Assurance, CS, MIS or related (experience may substitute).
• 7+ years of data architecture/engineering/analytics/AI/ML experience.
• Hands-on architect/technical lead with production enterprise data/AI systems.
• Strong communication in fast-paced DoD environment.
• Experience Databricks Lakehouse and Medallion architectures.
• Kimball dimensional modeling expertise.
• Experience leading developers and briefing customers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture and hands-on implementation of enterprise data, analytics, and applications in Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Kimball dimensional modeling, Databricks Lakehouse/Medallion patterns, semantic layers, and Foundry Ontology.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and governed data layers with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, Foundry tools, Databricks, and Delta Lake.
• Design and implement Foundry Ontologies with governed objects, links, Actions, Functions, KPIs, and access controls.
• Build production Workshop applications, JavaScript/TypeScript Functions, widgets, and OSDK integrations.
• Develop and maintain data cleansing pipelines ensuring authoritative, accurate data across layers.
• Enforce validation, de‑duplication, formatting, and business rules in Foundry code and governance.
• Lead engineers, review code, remove blockers, and maintain architectural alignment.
