Job summary

LMI Government Consulting, remote US-based, is seeking a Data Engineer for the Army Vantage/Palantir Foundry workstream supporting the ATIS program. You will transform authoritative ATIS data into reliable enterprise products and ensure integrations align with Vantage/Foundry capabilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with Foundry, strong data-engineering skills, and the ability to resolve data quality and integration issues across ATIS and Vantage/Foundry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data integration.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and Army Vantage.
• Strong SQL and Python for data transformation and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data modeling.
• Experience with Foundry ontology or semantic data models.
• Experience with PySpark, Spark, Pandas.
• Ability to troubleshoot data pipelines and data-quality issues.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Ability to work independently within an Agile team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ATIS data products, datasets, pipelines, applications, dashboards within Army Vantage/Foundry.
• Design, build, and sustain production-quality data pipelines and transformations using Python, SQL, PySpark and native Foundry.
• Develop Foundry ontology objects, relationships, and data models for authoritative ATIS data.
• Integrate ATIS data with Vantage/Foundry and other Army data sources while ensuring data quality and access controls.
• Trace, diagnose, and resolve end-to-end data quality and integration issues across ATIS data and Foundry.
• Develop Foundry-native dashboards, reports, and data products for Army analytics and mission needs.
• Implement data-quality validation, monitoring, scheduling, error handling, and related practices.
• Apply software and data-engineering practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and users to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
• Document solutions and build team capability to sustain Foundry capabilities.
• Operate as a self-directed Agile team member, driving problems toward resolution.
