Job summary

Apple in New York, NY is seeking a Data Engineer to develop and apply quantitative analytics for the Tasks group. You will harness data science methods to identify process gaps and deliver impactful, data-driven improvements across the supply chain.

You’ll use Snowflake, SQL, Python and related tools to extract insights, communicate results to senior stakeholders, and support decision making. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with quantitative analysis in the supply chain space is expected.
• Ability to translate technical content for non-technical stakeholders is essential.
• Proficiency with statistical tools and data visualization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Think decisively while executing on functional procedures to make conclusive and quantifiable enhancements for the activities groups.
• Utilize statistical tools and methods to identify process gaps, root causes, and drive data-driven guidance; present findings to senior leadership.
• Think outside the box and influence peers and management with data-driven models using advanced analytics.
• Leverage quantitative abilities to select appropriate tools and methods, build frameworks to drive policy changes, and implement corrective actions to improve customer experience.
• Apply knowledge of data concepts including data warehousing, data engineering and experience with self-serve data platforms.
• Create and maintain reports and data models, and leverage data across complex ordered progressions using multiple data sources.
• Impact the design of core data models that fuel the Tasks teams, coordinating multiple data architects to adopt best practices.
• Perform testing to validate implementations and drive data quality improvement processes.
